Why Vs is better than Magic
Written by Anthony O'Reilly

Taken from Maynooths Games Society at: http://societies.nuim.ie/~games/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1411. Thanks Anthony!

So article the first is to be a treatise on why one should play Vs as well as or instead of other CCG’s. The title is slightly misguiding, but it got your attention. The article shall be a game of three halves. (That’s right, the first article comes with 50% extra free. Disclaimer – The three halves may not be of equal size. All complaints from the mathematically sensitive shall be ignored)

If you're new skip to the End first, which has a less wordy and probably more convincing paragraph about Why Vs is Awesome and you should give it a go.

Vaticon 2006

Vaticon was under the directorship of "Brian Wilson" this year.

See the gallery here: Click Here

Vaticon was good craic this year.  I rpg'd all saturday (literally right into the early hours) and I played a mix of games on Sunday.  There was good attendance this year with many games including a Versus tournament and the settlers nationals drawing people in.  I recognised mibs, dominicon peeps, confess peeps and certainly an IGA person or two (I think, damn, I really have to get along to Gaelcon).  Apart from the excellent RPGs, Card and board games I played, I had a go at Werewolf which is excellent but I'll go into later.  Anyway, on with the review.

The Amazing Dominicon!
Written by Paul Mara

Right, I shall write this review as best I can when I can.  This paragraph at the top will be removed once I feel I've completed it.  I said that if I don't get something going like this, then I'll never get it done!

The Amazing Dominicon was exactly that, Amazing!  Carrying on in the same location as the previous one Amazing Dominicon really held true to the high reputation that the Maynooth Convention Organisers have been building up.
